Chatworth House

Our last big day trip before Christmas was to see "Chatsworth House". This was probably my favorite site of the whole trip. I regretted that I didn't make the time while we were near London to drag my family to see Highclere castle where they film "Downton Abbey", but this house made up for it. It definitely had the same feel as Dowton and it was absolutely stunning. It was beautiful to see all the rooms dressed up for Christmas with a different country theme in each room. My favorite part however were the grounds that the house is on. Even in the middle of the winter they were so pretty, I can only imagine how gorgeous it must look there when everything is in bloom. I absolutely loved it there!
