Peach Days

Peach Days was fun as usual. The weather was nice this year......other than the fact that we got rained on, but at least it wasn't super hot! We had a great time playing with cousins and enjoying the festivities!

They made it around the Ferris wheel one time before they pulled them off because of the rain

We got to watch this little cutie most of the day Saturday. She is adorable!!

The day ended on a sour note when we got a call that Mom and Dad Walkers yard was flooding. It was crazy how much water and mud could end up at their house so fast! Luckily it didnt make it inside the house, but it is so sad all the damage that it did to their beautiful yard.

A Pain In The Back

My poor dad! After not being able to walk for a whole month he had to undergo a second back surgery to repair the damage that his first surgeon caused. It was so sad to see him in so much pain! This time the surgery was a lot closer to our house so we got to visit him a lot! In fact, we all got to hang out in a waiting room for over 6 hours together waiting for him to come out of surgery. Everyone thinks I am crazy for taking the kids with me, but they were really really good, and had a lot of fun spending time with their aunts and uncles. We are so happy that he is starting to feel better!!

August

We had a really fun August!  It was jam packed full of things to do, and we had a great time doing them. Here is some of what we have been up to the last month:


We got to see some cousins that we don't see very often. We love them!

Nixon discovered that it's really comfortable being surrounded by pillows, and he had to use all of them he could find.

We had a neighborhood cat visit, and this is as close as I would get to it. Poor kids played with it through the window. I am so NOT a fan of cats!

We had some more fun in the water.

We helped Boston get ready for school

 

 

We celebrated her first day with a happy meal!

We had lots of random fun as well

Boston likes to stand here and spy on the neighbors :)

Now, the kids have picked out their pumpkins at Nana and Bumpas and we are all ready for fall!!
