Disneyland 2013

We love Disneyland!  After having so much fun on our trip last year, we were dying to go back, so last week we did.  This time we went with Grandma and Grandpa Cosgrove, Mally, and Lauren.  It was so nice to get out of the snow and enjoy time together as a family.  The kids loved it and so did we!  It was a magical week :)

On the road!  The kiddos did so good, especially on the way back when we drove straight home

On the way there we spent the night in Vegas to break up the drive a bit (I am so not a fan of Vegas!)

We also stopped for lunch at my grandpas cousins house, the kids loved their dog!

Finally Disneyland!

I absolutely loved the "World of Color"

Boston was still a little shy with the Characters, but Nixon had no fear....in fact we had to pull him off of them.  He was so cute!

This may be my favorite pic of the whole trip.....he tried to kiss everyone!

Sassy, even at Disneyland

Nixon loved the teacups, Monsters Inc., and Dumbo the best.

Boston liked Pirates, the Golden Zephyr, and the new Cars ride.

We are all so excited to see this!

The last night we were there mom and dad were nice enough to watch the kids so we could spend some time just the two of us.  It was fun to roam the park without kids for a little bit.  I sure do love my very own Prince Charming!

It was a great trip!!!!

A girls date with my princess

Last weekend I got to go on date with my favorite little lady.  We went to see "Parental Guidance". It was a cute movie and we had so much fun together!  I sure do love her!

Silly Boston

Boston has had so many funny comments lately.  I feel bad that I haven't written them down, and have forgotten most of them.  Last night she had one of her moments and Jordan told me that I should blog about it, so here it is:

We were watching a comedy sitcom on TV and Jordan and I weren't really paying attention so we weren't really responding to what was going on on the show.  Boston however was laughing a lot (I am sure she didn't understand most of it).  Finally she turned to us and said "on this show they have people laughing (canned laughter) so you know when youre supposed to laugh!" She is so observant :)......I love her to pieces!

Nixon loves Technololgy

This little guy loves anything electronic.  I feel like I have to hide my phone from him most of the day, just to keep him off Youtube (he likes to watch Jeopardy and Taylor Swift videos).  He is constantly looking for the remote for the TV, or trying to get on the computer of IPAD.  It's exhausting for me, and slightly concerning how much he can do, and how much he wants to do.  I just hope he uses that love to do something cool someday, not just to tune out his parents :)  Love him!

Finally a post

I think this is the longest I have ever gone without a post.  These last few months have been really rough for me.  I wasn't going to mention anything on here at all, but since I use this for my journal I didn't think it was very "real" to completely ignore it.  I have had a really hard time with depression and anxiety that kinda came out of nowhere.  I never imagined what a nightmare something like this could be, but boy has it been tough.  I have so much empathy for anyone who has experienced anything like this.  Thanks to my WONDERFUL family, and lots and lots of prayer and priesthood blessings I feel that things are finally starting to turn around, and I hope someday I can pay forward all the love and support they have shown to me.  I still have a ways to go, but hopefully a trip to the "Happiest Place on Earth" will help get me there :)  We are so excited to be going back there in a few weeks!
