Jordan is still on his sabbatical from work, so we let the kids miss a couple of days of school and took a family trip to New York City. Nana and Bompa also joined us. We were able to do so much while we were there, and we had so much fun! We went to the Top of the Rock, saw “Wicked”, went to the 9/11 Memorial museum and the top of the One World Tower, went to the MOMA, the Met (some of us), the Guggenheim, and the Natural History Museum. We went and saw the Manhattan Temple, and took a quick stroll through Central Park. We went shopping at the Nintendo Store and FAO Schwartz and got frozen Hot chocolate at Serendipity. We did lots of walking, rode the subway, in cabs and busses too. We ate at a lot of cool/famous nyc restaurants. The boys went to a neat Spy Museum while the girls went to “The Phantom of the Opera”. We did so much, I’m sure I’m forgetting some of it, but it was so much fun! The kids are so good at traveling and it’s fun to be with them as they discover new places!
