We like to stretch birthday celebrations out over the “birthday week” around here. I asked Finn what he wanted for his bday Sunday dinner and the first thing out of his mouth was “corn”. So, we started his birthday celebrations off Sunday with corn and some more good food and cupcakes for dessert. Then on his actual birthday we did presents in the morning before school and then I got to go have a Chic-fila picnic in the car with him for lunch. After school we gathered up a bunch of his friends and went to a private screening of “Lego Movie” at the theater. The kids loved having the theater to themselves and even fit in a game of tag before the movie and a dance party at the end. Finn is such a friendly boy and had so many friends come and celebrate with him. To finish off the bday celebrations we went out for sushi last night for dinner. Finners is such a great kid, it’s so easy to celebrate him everyday!
