A couple of weeks ago Jordan had to go to New York for work and I got to tag along! I have always wanted to go there and I am so glad I did. It was so surreal to see things I've only seen on tv and movies so many times. There is so much to do there and we definitely didn't have time to cover a lot of it, but we managed to fit in quite a bit in a few short days. It was so fun, and at the same time made me really appreciate the convenience of not living in a big city. It was a great trip and I hope to go back there again someday.
Here is some of what we did: Walked through Times Square a few times, I went on at tour of the NBC Studios by myself while Jordan worked. We went and saw "Dear Evan Hansen" on Broadway. Went to the Guggenheim, and The MET (twice). Visited Rockefellar Center and the Top of the Rock. Went to FAO Schwartz, and the Nintendo store (for Nixon). Saw the grave of Alexander Hamilton, Went to the 9-11 Memorial Museum. Took a pic in front of where John Lennon was killed (also for Nixon). Stopped in for a short visit at the "Natural History Museum", walked through Central Park, and got frozen hot chocolate at Serendipity. We also took bus tours through Uptown, Downtown, and Brooklyn at night....and did tons and tons of walking.
