Next we went into Vancouver for a day. We didn't plan super well and failed to realize that we would be entering Canada on "Canada Day" so it probably took us a little longer than normal to get into the country, but it was cool to see everyone so patriotic. It was mine and the kids first time leaving the US and it was a great place to start. Vancouver was so beautiful, and such a cool city. It was so big, but didn't really feel too intimidating. It was so cool to drive out of town for 5 minutes and be up in the mountains. We spent our day there at "Grouse Mountain" where we rode the sky tram up to the top of the mountain and played around up there. It had a cool playground in the trees, and the big kids even tried a ropes course where we felt like they grew up right before our eyes. They were so brave climbing around up high in the trees and it was so neat to watch them excel at something they had never tried before. We probably could've spent another couple of days in Vancouver, but we had a fantastic time on the one that we were there.
