The last stop on our trip was Seattle for a day and a half. We took the kids on a long walk through the city and then to a Mariners game. It was only the 3rd of July, but they had a great fireworks show after and we decided that was enough fireworks for us this year. Then, the next day on the fourth we went on a "hop on hop off" tour of the city where we got to ride on a "double decker bus"...Finn has been talking about riding on one for months so he was really excited. We hopped off at a couple of places, but we actually rode the bus through the tour twice. It was a really cool way to see everything and learn about the city. After a day in the city ( and the rest of our trip) we decided we needed some down time and rented a movie in our hotel room. Afterwards we walked to a sushi restaurant and saw a little bit more on our way. It was definitely not a typical Fourth of July for us, but we had a great day, and a fantastic trip!!

Victoria
After spending a day in Vancouver we took a ferry ride into Victoria. This was probably the stop on the trip that I was most excited for and it didn't disappoint! The weather was a little bit rainy and not as sunny as the previous days had been, but even so it was wonderful. After our Ferry ride we went to the Pier for lunch and to walk around a little bit before heading to "Buchart Gardens". These gardens were seriously the most beautiful place I have ever been. It was stunning! I think I could live there. The kids acted kind of bored at first, but by the time we left even they were saying it was one of their favorite parts of our trip. It was totally worth the time it took to get there. After our trip to the gardens we went to dinner and then walked around a little bit more in the city and in the "Fisherman's Wharf" there. It was such a cool place. I hope maybe someday we can explore it even more.
