Kindergarten

Why do they have to grow up so fast? My little lady started kindergarten today! She was so excited, I was so sad.  I love having her home with me. I did try to convince her to let me home school her so that she could be around all day.....but she wasn't interested :) She is such a smart little girl and she will do so well in school. We love our little kindergartener!!

She did get a little nervous once the other kids started to sit down around her, but once they broke out the crayons she was just fine :)

Old Lady

Yesterday I officially became an old lady.......ok, that might be a bit dramatic, but I did celebrate a big birthday that I hadn't exactly been looking forward to. Still, I am one lucky lady to have such a great family to celebrate with me and that makes getting older a little easier :)  Jordan is so sweet he even took half of the day off work so we spent it shopping, going out to eat, and visiting with family. I had a really great B-day!

8 Years

Yesterday we celebrated our 8th Anniversary! We had a fun night out going to dinner and a movie. I feel so blessed to be married to my Best Friend. I truly love him more everyday and I look forward to Eternity with him. I am one lucky lady!!!

Lagoon

Yesterday we got to go to Lagoon with the Leishmans. We had so much fun together....as usual.  Once again Nixon was terrified of the rides, but we did get him on a few of them (crazy that at home he's not scared of anything, but he cant handle amusement parks). Boston was in heaven being there with her BFF and going on  everything she could.  We love hanging out with our fun neighbors. It was a great day!

Dare Devil

This is what happens to your nose when you think it's a good idea to jump from a picnic table onto a "Little Tikes" car.  At first we were worried that it was broken, but it is looking better now.  There's never a dull moment with this little guy!

Mother/Daughter Time

Last Friday I took Boston out for some "one on one" time before school starts, and I'm gonna miss her like crazy half of the day (Kindergarten). We went to a movie, out to lunch and then did some school shopping.  I'm going to try and make this an annual tradition.  I love spending time with this girl, she is amazing!!

FHE is F-U-N

The last couple of Mondays for FHE we have done some fun things, and I thought I should blog about them before I lose the actual papers we made.

Last week we cut out a heart for each of us, and then took turns writing what we love about eachother on them.  It was sweet to see what we came up with and to hear about the "little things" that we appreciate about eachother.
