Birthday Celebrations

We got to celebrate our little lady's birthday several times this year.

We started with an impromptu party after my Dads retirement party. Most of the family was together, so we thought it would be a good time to start off the Birthday fun.

We also got to host a birthday party with a bunch of girls from our neighborhood. We ended up with 12 girls age 7 and under! It was a little crazy, but worth it....she had a great time!

We tried to make her actual birthday as fun as possible, we went to a movie, dinner at IHOP with Nana and Bumpa, and on a drive to see Christmas lights. I even got to go to school with her for an hour and help in her class. She sure is loved!

Bostons Dance Recital

Our little ballerina had her dance recital this past week. Im not sure that I am cut out to be a "dance mom", but Jordan and I both agree that she is a beautiful ballerina. She is such a great dancer and such a sweet girl! We sure do love her!

BTW lately Boston has forgotten how to open her eyes for photos, its rare to catch those beautiful blue eyes :)

Dads Retirement

I am so far behind on my posting. This last month has been so busy that I havent had the time to sit down and update my blog.....so get ready for a few posts at once :)

Due to back problems my Dad decided it was time to retire from being a police officer. It was a decision that came a lot sooner than her had planned, but I'm sure he will continue to do great things in the future. It was fun to be able to celebrate his retirement with family and his coworkers. He sure is a great man!

Nixon even took a moment to bare his testimony :)

Silly Six Year Old

Our silly girl is six years old today! I just can't believe it! She is the best daughter we could ever ask for. She is kind, and sensitive, and funny, and happy, and just plain wonderful. We love you so much Bopper!!!

Christmas all over the House

It's no secret I love decorating for Christmas. I love the way it makes my house feel. I am usually really strict about waiting until after Thanksgiving to put up Christmas decor, but this year it was just too hard. I justified it by telling myself that the fall decor had been up since September and the Christmas decor would only be up for one month, so I better get on it :) So, this year it happened a week early......and I still love it!
