Celebrating Grandma

 My sweet grandma was laid to rest this last weekend (actually on our 18th wedding anniversary). I got to do her hair to help get her ready for her viewing and it was a special experience to be able to do that. I also gave her “life sketch” at the funeral and Jordan said the prayer to dedicate her grave. It was a beautiful service that reflected the wonderful woman that she was. We love her so much!

Grandma Janet

My sweet, wonderful grandma passed away on August 10. Grandma was one of my best friends and favorite people on this earth. She was such a big part of my life and I have countless wonderful memories of her. I am going to miss her so much, but I’m so glad she is with my grandpa again. I was lucky enough to be able to spend a couple nights with her before she passed (Boston came one night too) and it was special to have that time with her. I am so grateful for all the many things she has done for me and taught me. I love you grandma!

My grandmas best friend Carolyn Dunn (also my bff Charise’s grandma) also passed away unexpectedly just a few days before my grandma. We are so sad Carolyn is no longer with us too, but we think it’s so neat that her and grandma were able to go at almost the same time. I’m sure they are having a fantastic party without us :)
