A party for a princess

Boston turned four this last weekend, so we decided to let her have some of her friends over for a party.  Everyone came dressed as a princess. We played some games, ate some treats and had lots of fun!!

Boston sitting by her window waiting for friends to arrive :)

Everyone made their own crowns to wear

We played pin the crown on the princess

Boston didn't want to wear the blindfold

We broke open a pinata.......thanks to daddy :)

And of course opened presents

Boston had a really good time.  She is so lucky to have so many great friends!

On her actual Birthday we had some family over for cake and icecream.  This little girlie is so loved!

Did I mention she's four now?  :)

Boston even got spoiled when we went to Brigham and great grandma Cosgrove had a party waiting at the princess castle for her!

Our Christmas Home

I love the way Christmas decor makes my house feel.  I thought it would be good to share some pics of  what our house looks like at Christmas time, so here's a little peek.

This is Bostons room.  She loves Christmas as much as I do :)

Bostons "phone"

This is Bostons phone.  Yes, it's a calculator, but don't tell her that.  She is way too involved with this thing.  The other night we were having a girls night and watching a movie and she stopped to look at her phone and said "if it rings, don't answer it.  I don't answer it when I don't know who it is."  Another time I tried to play along and I told her that I texted her.  She said "I don't text people, they just text me."  :)  It makes me a little scared for the future when I see her acting like this......although it is quite entertaining.  I guess its a good reminder to not spend so much time on my phone :)

This is Halloween

We had a great Halloween!  We woke up and noticed that someone had "pumpkined" our house!

They left us Halloween Oreos....so Nixon had them for breakfast :)

Then later that afternoon we went to the Walkers for a family party.  Nana and Bumpa put on a great party.  The decor and games were great, and of course so was the food.   We had a blast!!!!

This hallway even had a creepy visiter......

.......it terrified Boston!

Poor little girlie

Hot dog mummies and witch fingers

Nana with the "witches brew"

We played the "donut game"......
