December

 I feel like I covered December pretty well, but here are the pics I have that didn’t get included in my other posts…mainly Finn singing at school :)

New Years Eve

 We had a pretty low key New Years Eve party this year. We all went to dinner at jcw’s and then played some board games. I have never been so ready to say goodbye to a year as I  was to 2025. We lost some great people in 2025 and it put a shadow on the whole year, I am looking forward to 2026 and hope it will bring so much more joy, and less loss. 

Christmas 2026

 Once again we had a great Christmas! It was a little weird this year because it’s been so warm outside without a chance for snow, and of course things didn’t feel right without Mally there. We got together with my family (except for a sick Nixon) at Curtis and Collette's house the Sunday before Christmas so we could have Mav with us, and we even got Uncle Dave to come! Then, on Christmas Eve we went to brunch with the Cosgroves and visited the cemetery together. Later that night we hosted the Walkers for Christmas Eve dinner. It was extra fun with everyone still around from the anniversary party. Christmas day was a lovely day spent at home, just how we like it. It’s such a wonderful time of year!
