Back to School

All 3 kids are officially back to school. The kids are loving it, but this has by far been the hardest year for me. My last baby is now in school every day (half day).....its day two, and I am already missing him. I'm sure next year will be even harder when he is gone for the full day, but it is already a big adjustment. I'm so sad to be ending the chapter of life where I get to have little ones home with me, and I would give anything to slow down time. Still, I am so proud of the amazing people they are becoming and I'm sure that the future has great things in store for all of us. Boston is in 6th grade, Nixon is in 3rd, and Finners is in Kindergarten.

Back to School Dates

Like every year we took our kids on their "Back to school" dates again this year. I took the boys and Jordan took Boston this time. All 3 wanted to go to an arcade plus Boston played mini-golf, Nixon went Bowling, and Finn went to see "Dora the Explorer". I think we look forward to these dates as much if not more than the kids. It is so fun to have the extra one on one time with them and its one of our favorite traditions.

The Rest of Summer

Summer went by so fast! The fun continued after we got back from our trip to the North West. I can't remember a summer where we have played so hard, but I have a feeling it will continue to be that way as the kids get older. We had so much fun as a family, lots of swimming, playing baseball, playing with friends, dog sitting, sleepovers with cousins, celebrating our 14th Anniversary, and so much more. It was exhausting, but we have made so many fun memories to make it all worth it!
