Back to School Dates

The past couple of weeks we have had the chance to take the kids out for their "back to school dates" that we like to do each year before school starts. Summer goes by way too quick and it is nice to get a little "one on one" time in before they are gone all day again. Finn is even starting preschool next week, so for the first time he got to participate too. I don't know about the kids, but this is one of my favorite traditions....they are growing up way too fast and I will take all of the precious time with them I can.

Now that it's the middle of August I am finally finding time to post about July. Man, this summer has gone by so fast! The kiddos start school on Monday, and though I'm feeling ready to send them back, I am sad about how fast they are going and how fast time goes by. Thankfully we have a couple of trips planned this fall to give us some more fun to look forward to. We didn't do anything too crazy in July, but we did get to go up north and spend some time with family while Jordan was away for a work trip. We have had something fun to entertain us nearly every day, and we have made some great summer memories with the people we love. Here are some more pics to prove it:
