A couple of weeks ago we took the kids to explore the Church History Museum in Salt Lake. We all learned a lot and had a really great time!

"Camping"
We are not exactly the camping family... we have almost no camping equipment and other than a ward activity, none of our kids have ever even slept in a tent. They are always asking to try it, so Nana and Bumpa planned a night of fun in the outdoors for the kiddos. We all got to join them up in the Canyon where we cooked "Hobo Dinners" and "S'mores" and got ourselves smelling like campfire. Then, all the kids got to go sleep in tents in Nana and Bumpa's backyard while the parents got a lovely night of sleep in our own beds. It was a perfect taste of camping, and the kiddos loved it... In fact, it wore them out so much that Finn fell asleep in our backyard and took a 4 hour nap the next day. They can't wait to do it again :)
Fourth of July
The Fourth of July is definitely one of our family's favorite holidays. This year we enjoyed swimming with cousins, snow cones, way too much good food, and as usual a fantastic firework show. We are so blessed to live in this country and so grateful for those who fight to keep it free. We love the USA!
