Fairy Gardens

For months I have been talking to the kids about making "Fairy Gardens", and yesterday we finally did it. None of them actually have Fairies in them. They actually have Star Wars characters, Legos, animals, dinosaurs, and other random creatures. They had fun picking out the plants and showing me exactly where in the pot to plant them. They even managed to entertain themselves for an hour or so decorating them, so I'd say it was a success!

Lagoon

Last Friday we got to to back to Lagoon with the Cosgroves. It was hot and exhausting and we like always we had a great time!

For some reason we ended up bringing this Giant Sloth home with us!

April and May

I have been such a slacker for the last two months! I cannot believe it is already June. Besides celebrating birthdays the last 2 months have been spent wrapping up the end of the school year, softball and baseball, and tons of yard work (I will post those pics later). I feel like lately there haven't been enough hours in the day to accomplish the things I want to, but now school is out and hopefully we will find some more down time...now I just need to get my kids to stop fighting and have some fun!
