A Little Get Away

Last weekend our awesome parents took care of our kids for us so Jordan and I could get away for a few nights. It was so nice to sleep in, watch movies, eat a lot, relax, and just have fun together.  We had a great time being alone just the two of us and it gave us the energy we needed to come back to our wonderful, crazy life back at home :)

Tulip Festival

Last week for "family night" we went to the "Tulip Festival" at Thanksgiving Point with Nana and Bumpa. We rented golf carts to cruise around in and had such a nice evening enjoying the beautiful gardens there. We also got to see the new "Light of the World" addition and it was amazing! It was such a great night!

April

April was another fun month around here.  We had a great time celebrating Easter, we took the kids to see  "the Lion King", Nixon lost his first tooth... and also cut a chunk out of his brothers hair, and lots of other fun moments. Here is proof:

Finleys Birthday Celebrations

We sure had fun celebrating our sweet three year old. For Finns birthday we took him out for pizza (and he ate 3 bites) and a treat and he got to play at the park while we watched Bostons softball game. Then the following day we had grandparents over for cake and ice cream. Finley loves Cruella De Ville so we had a "Cruella and Dalmation" themed birthday cake and party for him. I think we did a good job making our boy feel loved, now I just need to figure out how to slow down time.

Finn wanted these walkie talkies so bad, and they lasted clear until his birthday afternoon when he decided to leave one in my glass of ice water
