Christmas 2016

We had such a fantastic Christmas this year. I really like having Christmas on a Sunday so we can go to church and focus on the REAL reason for the season. I also love being with family and enjoying all of our Christmas Traditions...not to mention delicious Christmas food. We had so much fun celebrating with the Walkers. It really is the very best time of the year!

Finn loved being "Baby Jesus". I've never seen him hold so still and he was begging to do it again the next day.

Boston's Birthday

Since we were at Bear Lake and Boston's real birthday was on a Sunday, her birthday kind of got stretched out over several days this year. While we were at Bear Lake we played games, had cake and ice cream and opened presents. She also had a great time using the hair chalk she got for her birthday coloring as many family members as would let her.  Monday night when we got back we took her to dinner at "Teppanyaki" and then last night we took her bowling and let Emily come along to make it extra fun. I'm sure it is hard to have a birthday at Christmas time, but I think overall she felt very celebrated and loved...and she definitely is.
