Peach Days

Peach Days sure was different this year without Grandpa around, but we did our best to keep up the tradition...who knows what we will do from here on out. The kids especially love the festivities, and we love getting together and catching up with family.

Nix decided he would rather have a waffle than go on any rides....smart boy!!

Finleys Eye Surgery

On September 2nd our sweet little Finners had to have eye surgery on both if his eyes. In his right eye especially, some of the muscles were too strong and were pulling his eye up and to the right. Because of this his left eye would try and compensate for the right causing it to sometimes wander off as well.
The doctor went in and loosened the muscles in both eyes allowing them to line up more evenly (it took around 2 hours all together). It was so hard as parents to watch Finn go through this, but as always he just kept on smiling and so far everything has gone really well. He is seriously the best little guy!

So Long Summer

Summer went by way too fast! So yes, of course this is another somewhat random post to show how we finished off the summer. There are so many things I had planned in my head that I wanted to do with the kids that just didn't happen. Maybe next year I will be a little more organized...still, we had a great summer!
