Terrible Twos

I don't really remember the two's being too "terrible" with Boston, but I think Nixon is determined to prove me wrong. The last couple days he has really given me a run for my money. It's a good thing he is so sweet, or we might have to sell him.....j/k.

This incident happened when I was in the shower. When I came out of my room Nixon came running and said "I dump cheese." He sure did, the whole stinkin' bag!

I have since bought a child proof lock for the fridge.

This one happened when I left the room for about a minute and a half. I had already given him cereal and put the brand new box on the counter, but I guess he wanted some more. I walked in the room just in time to see him empty the box.

I hope he is done for a while!

Dress Up

Nixon is probably going to hate me for this post when he gets older.....but I couldn't resist. Yesterday he let Boston dress him up in her princess costumes. It made for some good laughs. At least they play well together :)

Walker Family FHE

Sometimes on Monday nights (ideally once a month) we get together with the Walker clan and have FHE together. It adds some nice variety to our Mondays, and its fun to be together as a family. This last Monday night it was our turn to host. As soon as we were finished the grandkids all gathered around Nana so they could play on her phone and watch Taylor Swift's "We are never ever getting back together" video. My kids are huge fans and know every word. It was funny to watch them all join in!

Nixons british accent

This little guy is so funny!  Jordan and I have recently jumped on the "Downton Abbey" bandwagon and have started watching the series.  Nixon is often playing with toys or looking at books while we are watching it, but every few minutes we hear him say "Mary Poppins" (sounds like Murray Boppin) in his best british accent.  It is adorable, he always keeps us laughing :)

Disneyland 2013

We love Disneyland!  After having so much fun on our trip last year, we were dying to go back, so last week we did.  This time we went with Grandma and Grandpa Cosgrove, Mally, and Lauren.  It was so nice to get out of the snow and enjoy time together as a family.  The kids loved it and so did we!  It was a magical week :)

On the road!  The kiddos did so good, especially on the way back when we drove straight home

On the way there we spent the night in Vegas to break up the drive a bit (I am so not a fan of Vegas!)

We also stopped for lunch at my grandpas cousins house, the kids loved their dog!

Finally Disneyland!

I absolutely loved the "World of Color"

Boston was still a little shy with the Characters, but Nixon had no fear....in fact we had to pull him off of them.  He was so cute!

This may be my favorite pic of the whole trip.....he tried to kiss everyone!

Sassy, even at Disneyland

Nixon loved the teacups, Monsters Inc., and Dumbo the best.

Boston liked Pirates, the Golden Zephyr, and the new Cars ride.

We are all so excited to see this!

The last night we were there mom and dad were nice enough to watch the kids so we could spend some time just the two of us.  It was fun to roam the park without kids for a little bit.  I sure do love my very own Prince Charming!

It was a great trip!!!!
