Redecorating

I don't know what it is, but lately I have had so many projects I've wanted to do.  I'm sure it drives Jordan crazy, but he is so good to put up with me and help me do them.  Here are few changes we have made around the house (please excuse the quality of the pics, I was too impatient to wait for better light):

Bostons room:  I really only changed one wall in here, and we finally changed the light.  I think it turned out as happy as she is!

Nixons room:  We added wainscoting and put him in a big boy bed.  It seems a little young since he is not even 2 yet, but he is so tall that he was having a hard time sleeping in his crib.  He loves his new bed and he is doing great in it!

This simple green pillow nearly cost me my finger.....not really, but while I was sewing it my hand slipped and the needle got impaled in my finger.  I had to go to the doctor and have it pulled out.....not fun!

I love the prints Jordan made!

Living room and Entry:  We added wainscoting in here as well.  I love how it lightens the room, and helps to make in not so "cookie cutter".

Family Photos 2012

This past weekend we had our annual family photo shoot.  My family is so great to put up with me and all my craziness in trying to get these.  It is always a stressful event (because of me), but they are such troopers, and I am so grateful to have these photos every year.  I love love love my Family!!!

Our Nixon

Our cute little man is no longer a baby, and I'm not sure how I feel about it.  He is changing so much everyday!  He is now starting to speak really well.  He loves to get into trouble, but he is so sweet it is hard to get mad about it.  It is so fun to watch him play and grow.  Here are just a couple cute moments with our big boy:

For some reason this silly kid loves to lay on the gravel in our yard

He likes to lay on Bostons bed and read the scriptures......or sing them :)

He loves his cars, and he loves to put them in a line and then move it all around the coffee table

We sure do love him!

Bostons Soccer Team

This is Bostons cute little soccer team.  We have had a fun time going to her games and watching her play.......or watching her run.  Boston thinks that it is mean to try and take the ball from other kids, so we are thrilled to see her kick it even once a game.  She usually runs a little slower on purpose so she is in the back of the group away from the ball, but she always runs with a big smile on her face.  She is such a sweetheart!

Bostons first missing tooth

Poor Boston, about a month ago she was eating pizza and hit her tooth with her fork, knocking it lose.  We tried to leave it alone, hoping it would someone tighten back up, but it got so loose I just had to pull it out.  Since she is only 4 years old we are thinking she might not get a new one for a couple of years.....good thing she is so cute without it!

She was so excited that the tooth fairy took her tooth and left her $2!

Weber State vs BYU

This past weekend instead of heading up north to Peach Days like we usually do, we stayed in Utah county and watched my little brother Curtis and the Weber State Wildcats play at BYU.  It was nice to be able to see Curtis play so close to home.  We took Boston out all by herself, and even though she missed her brother terribly we all had a lot of fun!

The only way to get through a hot football game is with a tigers blood snow cone

Curt is number 88 (the bald guy on the sidelines :)

Brigham City Temple

Yesterday we were able to attend the BC temple open house.  We waited in line over an hour and a half just to get inside, but it was worth it.  It is so beautiful!  It was so nice for our kids to be able to see what a temple looks like on the inside, and learn a little more about what goes on there.  We hope to be able to go back soon!
