Dance Recital

Last night Boston had her first "real" dance recital.  She danced to the songs: "Move It Like This", "When She Loved Me", and "Hot Hot Hot".  She did such a great job!  Boston has always been pretty shy in front of people, so we were worried she would have a hard time performing, but when it came time for the recital we saw nothing but smiles :)  She is an awesome little dancer! We were so lucky to have so many people come and support her.  We love our Tiny Dancer!!!

What we did while Daddy was away

Last week Jordan got to go to a conference up in Portland for work.  We have never really been separated before and we missed him A LOT.  We decided to entertain ourselves while he was gone by going to visit family. We had a lot of fun playing outside and being with people we love.......we are so glad to have daddy back home!

We had a couple of sleep overs, and even though they had a whole bed they slept right next to each other every night :)

Stairs

This was the best Mothers Day present ever!  For the past two years all we have had was a tiny wood box to keep us from falling out the backdoor.  This past week my AMAZING husband turned that box into stairs, 100% by himself.  He did a great job, and I love the way it turned out!

Nixons first haircut

Cute little Nixon.  He is finally starting to grow some hair, and the back was starting to get really wild and old man looking (especially when he slept on it), so I couldn't resist cutting it :)  It was really just a mini haircut, but he looks super handsome.

Busy, Busy, Busy

We have been soooo busy lately.  I don't think we have had even one day of "free-time" in weeks.  I can't imagine how its going to be when my kids get older.  In the past couple weeks Boston got to have her teeth capped (she loves her new silver teeth), Nixon got tubes put in his ears, and we have spent a lot of time trying to get our yard in order and still have time to spend with family.  I haven't taken very many pictures with all of the craziness, but here a few that are very random.  Hopefully I can get back on track at keeping up :)

Nixon is so cute.  Grandpa was trying to rock and sing Nixon to sleep, but instead of sleeping every time Grandpa would finish a song Nixon would stop and clap.  Grandpa got a big kick out of him!
