Stitches

What a day!  Just a few hours after she got her ears pierced Boston and Kayli were playing and she fell off of our porch and sliced her chin open.  She ended up having to get 6 stitches to close up the wound.  Poor girl, I think that was enough excitement for one day!

My little Boppy got her ears pierced today.  We were going to make her wait until she was older, but we had a change of heart.  To make it  even more fun, she was able to meet up with her friend Kayli so they could get them pierced together (Kayli's mom Jamie got hers pierced too!).  We talked about it for weeks so that Boston would be prepared and she was soooo excited!  She shed just a couple of tears, but she was really tough and she loves he new earrings!!

Nixon and the pool

The only time we tried to take Nixon swimming, we went to the pool and he whined for a second, and then fell asleep for the rest of the time.  So, last week I decided to try again in the kiddie pool in my parents backyard.  Here is how that went:

I took him out, and he thought about it for a while

He tried it again...and LOVED it!!!
